A long-term , successful fitness process should fulfill several important principles so that we can stay consistent and see sustainable results from our efforts. Within Mindful Fitness, we name these principles for our first aspect, TRAINING: organization , consistency , practicability, and, as always, mindfulness . Their implementation should ensure that we remain motivated, injury-free, and productive. The following are the explanations and content of the principles.

Organization: We base our training on an overarching structure : Each training session includes a warm-up, strength, hypertrophy, stability, and conditioning sections. It lasts 45-75 minutes. A training week with the distribution, number, and intensity of the sessions is both sensible and realistic. Furthermore, periodization with regard to intensity and volume in relation to one's own resources is essential. We use wave-like, linear, or block periodization to achieve goals.

For us, the scheduling of your training plays a huge role. By setting a fixed date in your calendar or with a coach, we increase the predictability and commitment of the training sessions. Finally, we focus on proper guidance , in the form of goals and a focus for your training, which should both fit together and suit your capabilities.

Consistency

To achieve lasting results, it is essential that you train consistently.

In our opinion, enthusiasm for your training process is the simplest way to keep you motivated – if you're having fun, you'll keep going! We use tests, challenges, our achievement system, and FIT VIII Games to achieve this. Variety and a holistic approach prevent boredom from setting in. Through diverse movement variations and performance qualities, you'll be constantly challenged and maintain a versatile level of performance. Diligence and quality also ensure the highest possible training consistency through the pace, scope, and execution of your movements.

In both competitive and recreational sports, load control represents an important metric in training planning. The applied intensity is correlated with the possible recovery time. This serves to optimize results and prevent overload by managing the given stressors.

Practicability

In the course of implementation, we always consider the performance level . The training is carried out through progressions and also

Regressions (increases and decreases

The individual exercises (with specific requirements) are ideally adapted to your current daily form and abilities, providing an ideal training stimulus that enables you to make lasting progress. To ensure that nothing gets in the way of your training, prioritizing it is crucial for us. Time away from your phone, preparation (packing, eating or drinking beforehand, planning, clothing, and equipment), and thus stress avoidance ensure that you can focus as best as possible on your training.

Furthermore, your own initiative , for example, completing additional activities or training outside of the gym or while on vacation, is another way to ensure that you can continue training. Your commitment and your own alternative equipment are essential. We also advocate a certain level of comfort in terms of atmosphere, music, private interaction, or anything else that is necessary for you to feel comfortable during your training and to implement it consistently.

Mindfulness

Our pervasive principle when it comes to every aspect of Mindful Fitness is (you might have guessed): mindfulness. In personal training and coaching , this means having clear documentation of the same (paper plans or app).

Body composition measurements using our InBody analysis and intensity monitoring with the Myzone heart rate system are also tools to help you become more aware of your fitness level. Reviewing your goals and their congruence with your current training helps you stay mindful

throughout the process.

It can therefore be concluded that training is not only effective in isolation and in a single session, but rather as part of a holistic system and only with appropriate consistency. Those who are well organized can implement their process over the long term; those who approach it mindfully and with the right attitude will take their mindful fitness process to the next level!

We hope you were able to gain some insight from this post and look forward to hearing your questions or feedback. See you soon at FIT VIII and take care!
