There is exactly one Thing we can control -

ourselves! This includes our thinking, our words, decisions and our dealings with things, fellow human beings and emotions. We can neither the control the reaction of an unknown animal or a person on us, nor the decisions of the boss or partner or

control their behavior. The only influence we have on these things is to focus on the factors in our control. In the above examples, it is our personal behavior and our mindset towards the respective parties, which we cannot control. Even about un-

foreseen events from the future we have no control over, but this is where the greatest potential for our stress and suffering. We cannot control what will happen, what the traffic will be like or how the exam will turn out for us. The only thing that is controllable is are our pre-

paration, our timing and above all our attitude with which we encounter these things. So before you curse that you are stuck in traffic, late for the exam, and cannot answer any question, you should focus on the control bare concentrate. For example, earlier departures and better learning make it easier exam day and also ensure a more fulfilling result that helps us achieve our goals closer. In one sentence: Focus exclusively on YOUR maximum effort, not on the result and other related factors. With this focus, you will always achieve the best possible for you.


Mindset - "TOWARDS..." INSTEAD OF "AWAY FROM..."

According to research, our behavior is always due to one of two objectives. We strive for either aversion (avoidance) or appetence (approaching). For illustration, the following examples:

We can use this fact by aligning our plans accordingly, to do more positive things that

Support the goal. This automatically more space in our decisions, our behavior , our habits, units and our time of things taken that help us, do us good, and continue to motivate. Instead of avoidance and restrictions that can demotivate and weaken us, we direct our plans to the things

that serve our cause. We now use our capacities solely to exploit our potential and achieve our goals. This is applicable to every area of life. Therefore, if you eat MORE proteins, good Fats, vegetables and plenty of water, there is LESS space or cravings

for unhealthy, empty, and detrimental calories. When you're full of nutritious food, the party, the cinema or the lunch break will not become a snack trap that you would otherwise avoid.

The more we move during the day , the better we sleep at night. Instead of If you want to go to bed earlier, it can help to get up earlier. If you want to surround yourself with people or things that are not good for you, you should focus on what makes you feel better.


Mindset - Constancy for Sustainability
